Afterward, we will step into a fairytale with a guided stroll through Zermatt village. This charming alpine destination is completely car-free, which creates an exceptionally peaceful and clean atmosphere. Your Matterhorn Day Tour Itinerary
Morning Pick-Up: Your day tour begins with a personal pick-up at your accommodation in Lausanne, Montreux, or Vevey.
The Scenic Journey: We travel by train through deep alpine valleys to Zermatt.
Gornergrat Ascent: We board the historic rack railway, climbing to 3,089 meters with evolving views of the iconic Matterhorn.
Alpine Experience & Lunch: At the summit, explore "ZOOOM the Matterhorn" exhibit, followed by an unforgettable lunch with the peak as your direct backdrop.
Lake Riffelsee (Summer only): We take a 10 min. hike to Lake Riffelsee, where the Matterhorn perfectly mirrors in the crystal-clear water.
Guided Zermatt Village Walk: Back in the valley, we do an approximately 1 hour guided walking tour in Zermatt village.
Safe Return I will accompany you safely back to your Swiss Riviera or Lausanne accommodation.
