Located in the canton of Vaud, Montreux sits beautifully on the northeastern edge of Lake Geneva at the base of the Alps. Thanks to its unique, mild weather, it has earned the nickname “the Swiss Riviera” and has been a popular destination for tourists for hundreds of years.
We’ll start our day with the spectacular cogwheel train ride, which offers breathtaking views of this realm of enchantment. There, atop the Rochers‑de‑Naye mountain, the real Swiss Santa Claus resides until December 24! Children and adults alike will make magical memories and receive a precious gift!
And for lunch we suggest a charming, traditional Swiss chalet‑style restaurant located on the way from Rochers‑de‑Naye to Montreux and which offers stunning views! The best choice for delicious Swiss fondue!
