Your Gruyères Tour: Detailed Itinerary
- I’ll meet you right at your Lausanne hotel (Montreux, Vevey are also possible), and we’ll enjoy a scenic, comfortable train ride to Gruyères (approx. 80 minutes).
- Cheese Factory visit: We start our day exploring the factory (30-45 mins). Insider Tip: Plan for a morning arrival! The live cheese demonstration usually ends by 12:00 PM.
- Historic Walk & Castle: We continue with a guided walk around the historic village. By wish you can visit the majestic 13th-century Gruyères Castle.
- Lunch Break: A dedicated stop to enjoy an optional Swiss fondue experience for lunch or dinner.
- Themed Stop: We’ll visit the atmospheric H.R. Giger Bar, designed by the Oscar-winning artist.
- Hassle-Free Return: I will personally escort you back to your accommodation in Lausanne, Montreux, or Vevey.
